Being apart of the Iron Heel Group was a pleasure. We all worked as a team to come up with ideas to engage the students. We did not want just a Q & A session, we wanted discussion and clips and snickers!! J We came up with the idea of a board game which was very well tied in with the idea of the text, Monopoly. We came up with a serious of questions which ranged from simple common knowledge to argumentative questions. The class was divided into three groups and they were given names based on the themes and important factors from the book “The Iron Heel.” The board game was a success and everyone got involved and competitive.
The group members worked equally and as a team to come up with this engaging board game and questions. We each put our own thought and produced an amazing product in the end. Each person was that piece to the puzzle and in the end our puzzle was complete! Great job team!!
